Sarah Stivland

• Licensed teacher with a degree in Secondary Social Studies from St. Olaf College

• Certified in Gifted Education from Hamline University

• Co-owner of Bluestone Physician Services, an onsite medical care company with my husband, based in Stillwater

• Serve on the Board of Community Thread of Stillwater and Bayport

• Served as chair of the CONNECT Chemical Health Action Collaborative of Washington County, whose purpose is to reduce teen alcohol and drug use

• Served as a member of YDAP, the group that brought the Courage retreat to both Middle Schools.

• Created and taught a study skills course at Sylvan Learning Center

• Served on the All Night Graduation Party as Entertainment Co-Chair

• Served on the Transition Team planning the 9th grade move from Jr. High up to the high school, which happened in 2017

• Served countless hours in classroom and support roles:

  • Partnership Plan Annual Da Vinci Fest

  • Junior Great Books

  • Destination Imagination coach and judge

  • Poetry club

  • Fundraising events.

• Chaired multiple PTA organizations
